I am Coco! I turned 30 recently and decided it was time to start living the life I had always dreamed of. So I sold almost all of my belongings and hit the road to travel the world. I photograph people and places along the way.
Xochimilco in Mexico City is the remains of a huge water transportation system used by the Aztecs. The boats are similar to that of a gondola and while floating through the canals you can come across vendors of all types including Mariachi bands, food vendors, souvenirs and some are used simply for transport across the canals.
The Douro Valley is one of the most gorgeous places I’ve been in Portugal. The wine valley offers so much more than simply wine or port tasting. The scenery alone is breathtaking but then add to that a cosy little bed & breakfast, a masterfully home cooked traditional Portuguese dinner and the anticipation of the fun to be had the next day.
The Teotihuacan Pyramids are set outside of Mexico City. There are a lot of theories about who built this city & why but many of those questions go unanswered. It is a Unesco World heritage site; It is truly magnificent and entirely worth visiting.
